Improving quality from the inside out.
Medical transcription demands a high level of accuracy. As a leading provider of medical transcription, Heartland Information Services knows that each member of its team must take personal accountability to maintain high quality standards. To educate and motivate employees, Heartland worked with R/P to develop an internal communication program called "Heart of Quality -- A Passion for Performance." During group training sessions, a variety of tools were distributed to engage and remind employees of their responsibilities. Elements included a personal pledge card, a desk cube and posters citing the company's Five Guiding Principles, mission statement banners, lapel pins and more. Heartland uses quarterly customer surveys to track how this quality training program translates to satisfaction in the field. |
